The goal is to create an item in the fields of leather goods, interior decoration, footwear, apparel, and jewellery, using the company’s famous braided items in a creative way. The very large range of articles in different colours and materials is an important opportunity for young designers who are ready to measure themselves against the challenge of using braided materials.
Every year the creations of young designers from all over the world are evaluated by a jury of fashion experts.
The contest is an occasion for the world of fashion and the industry to meet: Manifattura di Domodossola opens the door to young designers, making all its collections available, and the best designers are rewarded by the company with a money prize and with an internship.
Every year, the result of such a synergy is a bunch of fresh, innovative ideas, some of which are used by Athison in its collections.
